
Create videos with picture-in-picture, split-screen, and many other options
RaceRender is an application designed to help you create and edit videos. It enables you to create videos that make use of picture-in-picture overlays, split-screens, camera switching and transparency.
Unlike common video editing software, RaceRender is a video processor that is designed to easily and efficiently mix multiple concurrent video and audio sources.
It was originally created to produce fast-paced motorsport videos from multiple cameras, without requiring expensive video processing hardware, and to do it better and faster than typical video editing software. It has since evolved to become useful for a wide variety of other purposes as well.
Requirements:
· 256 MB of available RAM (1 GB total on XP, 1.5 GB on Vista and 7)
· 1024 x 720 or larger screen resolution
· Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0
· QuickTime 7 (optional)
Limitations:
· Limited Datalogger Overlay Support
· 4 projects only
· 3-minute Maximum Output Video Length
· 4 Maximum Media Sources (input files)
· 18 Selectable Picture Display Positions & Sizes
· Cannot adjust rotation, brightness, contrast, color, hue etc.
· RaceRender logo on videos that you create
· Cannot upgrade to future versions
What's New in This Release:
· Additional data layout template and gauge styles
· Can easily set speed default to MPH, Km/h, Knots, or m/s (see "Project Settings" button)
· Transmission gear estimation (for systems that don't provide Gear #, but do have Speed and RPM)
· Gear +/- adjustment factor (under data input config screen)
· Text-based data displays (Gear, Lap Number, Text Data) have Mode option to flash upon data change
· Data input files of the same format and layout can now be joined together sequentially
· TrackAddict HD data's OBD-2 speed will now be used instead of GPS speed by default
