An easy to use browser add-on that allows you to disable certain features of the Facebook chat in order to prevent friends to see if their messages have been read

Facebook SeenBlock for Chrome is a useful extension for anyone who wants to remove the "seen" and "is typing" messages from appearing in the Facebook chat. The add-on allows you to disable both blocks by using the address barbutton.
These preferences are valid both in the chat and in the message inbox in order to give you the freedom to mark the messages as read when you need to.

Note: In order to install the extension you need to drag and drop the downloaded file in the Extensions tab.
