Bvckup is a small and easy to use application that creates exact copies of your files and folders and then keeps them continuously in sync with the originals.

 Exceptionally streamlined user interface designed around the simplicity of the day to day use. It provides clear status indication, concise error reporting and one-click access to detailed status information.

 Program supports real-time, periodic or manual backups, complete or delta file copying, precise file replication (attributes, timestamps, NTFS security and ownership information). Additionally, it can operate in a NAS-friendly mode that eliminates unneccessary spin-ups of idle harddisks.

  • Added support for Volume Shadow Copying on 32-bit versions of Windows
  • Added an option for running Bvckup with full administrator privileges on Vista+
  • Added 48x48 application icons for Vista+
  • Added support for overriding various built-in settings via bvckup-override.cfg
  • Added a "Follow Bvckup" notification for active users
  • Modified installer and uninstaller not to trigger UAC dialog on Vista+
  • Modified uninstaller to prompt for removal of all Bvckup configuration data
  • Modified installer to use "Program Files (x86)" folder on 64 bit Windows
  • Modified logging to start each new log file with an UTF-8 marker
  • Multiple small UI changes
  • Resolved an issue with erroneous trimming of disk paths
  • Resolved an issue with long file paths not being properly stored between application runs
  • Resolved an issue with logging non-ASCII messages
