Password Depot is a software application which supplies you with a secure environment for storing passwords and other secret data (e.g. software license, credit card number).
This type of tool is recommended when you share your computer with multiple users, since it lets you keep your sensitive information private.
The setup pack includes Windows Explorer integration, add-ons for Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, along with a Virtual Keyboard to prevent keyloggers from getting ahold of your data.
Password Depot's interface is based on a clean and professional-looking window where you can use the file manager to organize files in the local system, USB storage device, Internet or Password Depot server, Dropbox, Google Drive or Microsoft SkyDrive.

You can easily sort them into groups, use a search function and create a favorites list. Furthermore, Password Depot supports a backup and restoration system, as well as a beginner and export mode for all types of users.
The Options screen comes with plenty of features. For instance, you can switch to a different language and theme for the UI, reconfigure keyboard shortcuts, specify the default expiration date for passwords, pick the default web browsers, and disable warnings, among others.
The comprehensive tool runs on a moderate amount of CPU and system memory, has a good response time to key strokes and mouse events, and contains user documentation. No error messages have been displayed in our testing and Password Depot did not hang or crash. Thanks to its intuitive layout and rich features, the program can be handled by users of any level of experience.
